Technology - suns Tec 1
suns Tec 1 is suns most durable and user friendly construction. It was created to bring a few of our core values to life to make sure we could offer great shapes, that are ridiculously durable at an affordable price to make useful boards available for all. It is available in a range of Surf, SUP and Foil models. There are some subtle differences between the ranges but the same base production process applies with consistent results.
A varying weight range EPS core is completely encased in a very high gram fiberglass, this is then filled with a special foaming bio epoxy resin to fill in the weave and begin to create a strong, durable structure. The board is then final shaped and laminated with fiberglass again in a special double lamination process that enables us to recreate the strength and flex properties of a sandwich construction board, without the traditional sandwich medium.
Available in several colors and finishes throughout the range, these boards present really good value at a great price point. The durability is next level which makes these boards very popular with schools or entry level crew looking to get into the market with a great board on a budget.
